1. London based young medical technology company is looking for a dynamic Business Development Director who can capitalise on the relationships already created and a build new ones with earpiece, headset and headphone manufacturers who will buy its technology for inclusion in their products. It is envisaged that once the sales volumes start rise the manufacturers will wish to manufacture the technology themselves so experience of licensing IPR would be very useful.  Prior to successful fund raising, the reward for the above positions will be on a sweat equity basis and post funding through a combination of salary and incentive pay.  

2.  A London based Angel-funded company is looking for a stellar Software Developer, CTO designate to lead our Big Data Analytics developments and to join the board as a co-founder.  In this role, they will get to utilize both their technical knowledge (also acting as a Chief Architect), as well as their business sense and vision to shape our strategy, roadmap and business plan in Big data analytics. The CTO’s first task will be to build a Proof-of-Concept demonstrator of VizBiz to showcase to investors, clients and prospects, so strong coding skillsthat are current is a must for this role.  The successful candidate will be someone with deep development experience, strong leadership skills, and extremely articulate and fiercely passionate about Big Data.

3.  A Sales Orientated Director is sought to join an innovative company operating in the fast growing enterprise social business sector. They already have a number of prestigious blue chip clients and are developing long term strategic alliances with global corporates who can further extend our market reach. The company is expanding rapidly and requires additional senior management skills to drive both sales and funding goals. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of facilitating growth and expansion into Europe and America within the software application sector. Salary, bonus and equity are on offer to align incentives.

4.  A company delivering transformation, coaching and leadership development solutions to over 300 private sector organisations as well as several large public sector organisations are currently looking for people with ideas and energy to expand the client portfolio and further develop business line propositions.  Business Development Leader (Based in London, with travel required).  Competitive salary, sales bonus and equity participation offered.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused, sales driven individual, to grow the business bringing clear and innovative thinking to clients. To be considered for this position, you must possess extensive business development exposure gained in a professional services environment (7 + years ),  extensive relationships amongst either HR or Senior line management in either / both the private or public sector,  a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets,  experience of the full project lifecycle from concept to implementation and  an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for selling and developing business ideas.  You will have the ability to operate and be credible with both Senior HR and C-Level leaders, advising and leading projects on key issues relating to business transformation, leadership capability development, future business strategy and Human Capital Management.  Expertise in Human Capital Management, Change Management and/or Organisation Design would be an advantage.

Running away to sea at the age of 18, James left the Royal Navy after 10 years and joined the family company.  Inside four empty buildings just off the Strand he set up Adam House serviced offices in 1999 just in time to catch the dotcom boom.  Two years later he launched Adam Street private members’ club for entrepreneurs and freelancers just in time for the dotcom bomb. In 2008 he went to Notting Hill were he restarted the historic music venue The Tabernacle and hosted performances from Lilly Allen, Take That, Florence and friends and launched a little album by Adele called 21.  Realising that artistic success and financial success were not necessarily connected he is now back full time at Adam Street.
